Doncaster Guitar Tuition has been providing guitar and theory lessons in South Yorkshire and worldwide (through Skype) with particular attention to quality of teaching, always with a warm and friendly approach as we understand how it feels stepping out of your comfort zone by learning something new.

Our commitment and goal is to make the pathway to great guitar playing as smooth and as easy as possible and that is certainly not achievable in group teaching. Students who come to us after having been exposed to group teaching can clearly see this and easily confirm it if asked. Why? Because, in contrast to private lessons, a tutor teaching a group of guitarists cannot focus exclusively on a student's strengths and weaknesses to help in the best possible way. Hence there is little value for money in the long run. Our slogan is 'Tuition Designed for Guitar, Knowledge Engineered to Last'. This is why we have been refusing over the years to offer a more profitable for us group tuition. Playing in a group is great, but not as the main way to learn, only as a complimentary and as an opportunity to apply what a student learns in the main guitar or theory lessons. We welcome beginners, amateurs or professionals as students of all ages from South Yorkshire, West Yorkshire and Lincolnshire have been coming to us. Guitar students visit us from Doncaster, Barnsley, Pontefract, Rotherham, Wakefield, Mexborough, Worksop, Scunthorpe, Bawtry, Edenthorpe, Armthorpe, Tickhill, Rossington and their surroundings.

At Doncaster Guitar Tuition we have experience in providing coaching to guitarists from bands playing original music or covers mainly in the field of advanced improvisation, theory and technique. Get the advantage of a well structured guidance/coaching that can lead you to a higher level.
Some of our students have been offered places at UK Universities/Colleges.

The suggested lower age limit for having guitar lessons is that of a child who is in year 4 in school, although rare exceptions for year 3 can occur. There is no upper age limit. Most of Doncaster Guitar Tuition clients are adults.

We particularly welcome enquiries from adults of all ages/levels from beginners to guitarists who already have experience and play or have played in bands and want to improve some aspects of their playing.

If you need a guitarist for session work or other music services please visit www.DimitrisKyriakidis.com. In 2014 Dimitris Kyriakidis participated as session musician on a single by a remarkable Yorkshire born female singer. The song went into the iTunes Charts in the UK and Greece.
